Dane Oktoberfest
The Lake Melvin Yacht Club will be hosting its 19th annual Dane Oktoberfest. The event takes place on September 9th, 6 pm to 11 pm and Sept. 10th, 9 am to 11 pm at Bert Deans Park in Dane, WI. This is the club’s main fundraiser for the 501(c)(c) nonprofit charitable organization that raises money for local families in need in the Dane, Waunakee and Lodi area. Oktoberfest involves coed softball tournament, raffles, silent auction, food and beverages. Friday night a free family friendly movie will be shown at dusk. Saturday there are children’s games and activities 11 am to 2 pm, and a bags tournament open to anyone with registration starting at 2:30 pm.
