Full Moon Hike

Description

This month we will treat ourselves to another spectacular evening hiking on the Gibraltar Segment of the Ice Age Trail!  We will walk up to the mesic prairie for a good look at the sun setting over Devil's Lake State Park to the west while the moon rises in the east.  The coincidence of the sunset and moonrise happens every summer in July and August.

Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather.  Bring a light as it may be dark at times.  This will be a short (about a mile to mile and a half one way) walk.
